1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of maai.dev (the “website”). By using the website, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
The website is operated by MOHAMMED ALASHQAR FOR AI DEVELOPMENT (“MAAI”, “we”, “us”), a sole establishment in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, licensed by the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development under licence no. CN-5898110.
2. Using the website
You may use the website for lawful purposes only. You must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or any connected system;
- interfere with the website’s operation, for example by introducing malicious code or overloading it;
- copy or collect content from the website by automated means at scale without our written permission;
- use the contact form to send spam, unlawful material or content that infringes anyone’s rights.
3. Information, not advice
The content on the website, including articles and descriptions of our services, is general information. It is not legal, regulatory, technical or other professional advice, and you should not rely on it as such. We provide advice only under a written agreement with a client.
References to standards and frameworks such as ISO/IEC 42001 or the NIST AI RMF describe the areas we work in. They do not mean we are endorsed by, or affiliated with, the bodies that publish them.
4. Intellectual property
The website and its content, including text, graphics, the MAAI name and logo, and the site design, belong to MAAI or are used with permission. You may view the website and share links to it. You may quote short extracts if you credit MAAI and link to the source. Any other use needs our written permission.
5. What you send us
Please make sure the information you send through the contact form is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. Do not send confidential information until we have agreed how to protect it. We handle the personal data you send as described in our Privacy Policy.
Sending us an enquiry does not create a client relationship or any obligation on either side.
6. Links to other websites
The website may link to websites run by others. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or up to date. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided “as is”, and MAAI is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the website or its content, including indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Abu Dhabi have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. By continuing to use the website after a change, you accept the updated terms.
